I've lived in the town of Shrewsbury for over four years. The town is a very small, quiet, and safe town. neighbors are very friendly. There are a lot of restaurants and activities nearby. I personally live off of route 9 and it's great. I have wholefoods, and more than 10 restaurants and shopping centers with 5 minutes away from me.
Shrewsbury is an excellent town to live in with your family. It has a great public school system and the community is generally friendly.
Love the town. Great people, great facilities, great schools, great kids, great leaders. Very quiet and kind people all around.
A bustling town next to Worcester, Shrewsbury has tons of activities ranging from several shopping centers to rowing on Lake Quinsigamond. Houses are more expensive than ones in Worcester, but are generally bigger as well. The public school system is strong and caters to thousands of students, although their lunches don't have many options available to a wide range of diets.
Shrewsbury has a great school system and I’ve grown up here all my life. Great place for someone to start a family.
I love Shrewsbury! It is close to 290 and route 9. The proximity of the town to many places is ideal! Love it!
Shrewsbury is a great town, and is very safe. The community here is amazing and the town has much to offer. That being said, I wish Shrewsbury was more connected via public transport or other facilities. Shrewsbury is a very spread out town, so it can get hard for people who may not have cars to travel around.
My experiences with Shrewsbury have been great. The education system is brilliant, and I have enjoyed attending school in Shrewsbury since 3rd grade. Shrewsbury is overall a quiet and friendly suburban area.
Shrewsbury is a super safe and quiet town. The schools here are really good. There really isn't any night life here.
I love Shrewsbury. It is very family oriented and the people are very friendly. Its just far away enough from the big attractions so it isn’t too busy but its also a drive away from the beach.
I believe the people in this community are very friendly with each other and are always willing to improve their environment/community. The education system is one of the top public schools in the area, with a plethora of different course levels. They even have many division one sport with more than 100 clubs. This town is a suburb with a more family oriented environment. Therefore walking at night is not a problem and there is no short of help when needed. It is so safe that middle school students are able to walk from the school to a local Dunkin Donut. Overall I believe this town is a spectacular place to live and to work in.
Shrewsbury has everything! It is very nice and clean, but the diversity here isn't that much. The education system is well, restaurants are amazing, and an easy drive to everything.
I like how Shrewsbury has easy access to all sorts of restaurants to shopping malls to all the recreation activities. Growing up here I was exposed to lot of diversity and open-minded thoughts because of how advanced the town has gotten in. They value a lot in the future generations education and always is trying to improve the system. At the public schools they make sure not just to expose their students to academics but also try to give a dose of what the real world is like.
Very good for families, schools are great for kids. Most parts of town are extremely safe, though houses are very expensive. It is a great town to raise a family in, and my family is very happy here.
Shrewsbury is a beautiful, quintessentially New England town. The schools are fantastic, the residents are friendly, and we have enjoyed living here. Like most towns in MA, real estate prices are high, but Shrewsbury has a lower tax rate than other towns in the area.
Shrewsbury is a very safe and well town. It has recently gone under many changes, introducing new stores and restaurants, but I would love to see more of a community outreach.
Near some local colleges, so you can get in touch with them for opportunities. They will also reach out to you. There is lots of snow here, hence, there tends to be quite some snowstorms in the region.
