Shrewsbury is a fantastic community to raise a family. The public school system is excellent, and crime is exceptionally low (especially when one takes into consideration population). With many parks & recreational areas & a gorgeous village green, Shrewsbury is the epitome of New England Charm. Average household income is high while property taxes remain some of the lowest in the state, and with a median home price of under 400k it is a more affordable option for the greater Boston area! Close to transit & Interstates 495, 290, & 90 Shrewsbury is centrally located to much of massachusetts & new englands entertainment & tourist attractions. A wonderful place to live & raise a family in safety & comfort.

Shrewsbury is a really dull, stifling place to grow up, but it is certainly safe. If you enjoy being bored and drinking by yourself while watching Bruins games, Shrewsbury is for you. One good thing about Shrewsbury is that you will always have a self-sacrificing neighbor who will be willing to plow your driveway after a snowstorm, free of charge, for no apparent reason except to be a local hero. That person (always an old-school townie) is awesome. Amici's Pizza in the center of town is worth checking out.
Large town with a small community feel. The school system is great and we recently opened our new library that is packed every night.

Close to Worcester and Boston. Easy access to 290, 495, and Mass Pike make it easy to travel anywhere in New England.

Lots of new restaurants to eat out at and, most recently, Worceter (next door) won the bid to have the Red Sox triple A baseball team. This will be a boom for Worcester and fun for our town as well.
