Police refuse to enforce laws. Parking across driveways, dogs not on leashes, running after you walking your dog. Not cleaning dog poop up. Police, you feel your bothering them a nuisance! Better to fall, get hurt, then to do their job!! No reason to be parked across sidewalks!!! unacceptable!! People drive texting on their phones, Nobody stops at crosswalk, can't walk the road with your dog, though you're forced to! Call on same issues over & over! So old! Take pics, Really gonna make us go there? Hell yes! don't say you'll follow up, then do nothing! Thank you

My experience in Shorewood has been very positve. The residents I have encountered have been very nice and welcoming. I enjoy the many walking trails that aid in my health and fitness activities. Shorewood has multiple shopping and restaurants places in the area to choose from. The school district offers an outstanding education for the residents starting from kindergarten through middle school. The housing market has improved with multiple homes being bought and sold in the area. One thing I have noticed about living in Shorewood is that the police department patrols the area on a daily and nightly basis.
I love how quiet it is here. After being forced to be home during school, the environment is perfect for a stressed college student. The crime rates are low, and police are respectful and very efficient. The people are friendly in the neighborhood and stores, and the restaurants here are delicious. Bonus: there is a Target.
