The Shoreview community is really involved and fairly close knit. There is a lot of focus on education in this city and overall people really support the school district. However, Shoreview in not a very diverse area and the city itself is shaped such that people are very spread out across the city. Unfortunately, there is not much to do for fun in Shoreview that is not outdoors which is difficult in the winter.
Shoreview is a great place to live and settle in. There are many parks and lakes in the city to enjoy and take a breathtaking view, especially in the summer. In the winter too, the scenery of snow is fabulous. Safety is the first priority, and that's why the public departments(police, fire, health) are always alert and on-duty. There is a huge community center and a big library. People of all age groups can come and enjoy themselves there. You can buy a house for a reasonable price within your budget. People of all types reside, so there is equality for all. Many big companies such as Deluxe, Boston Scientific, etc. have their offices here. Also, there isn't much traffic, which makes it easy to commute. Many people who live here would also have the same perspective and feedback about the city as I do. Lastly, I would like to say that it's a place worth living.
Shoreview is a very safe place to live. I grew up in this area and always felt as though I was at home and safe. Within the city there are many restaurants, events, stores, etc. Overall the city is amazing and there are many things to do and feel like you’re a part of the community.
