I like the fact that everyone is friendly but I would like to see more diversity. The high school in Shingle Springs is very friendly and there are many daycare services! There's a lot of little towns around which is good but I would like to see more big corporations and more clothing stores be put in.

We are a small town, full of conservatives. Way different than most of CA! There are a lot of farmer and rancher types out here, but you also get business people who commute to Sacramento and Folsom.
Shingle Springs is a small town. The houses are all unique and have big acres. Every morning, you see the turkeys and deer roaming in the yard. It is very peaceful and tranquil. Neighbors are very friendly. Most roads are maintained by house owners. The only problem is trash. The streets vary in location of trash pickup. On my street, the trash picks up at the very beginning of the street. I live on the very end of the road which is about 2 miles long, maybe more.
