Shields Township Reviews
Being close to a Naval Base, crime is not really an issue, police are around from time to time, but have not really been needed. Roads however are a different story, because of the status of our community being unincorporated, we are slightly cut off from he rest of the town, and therefore have to cross a bridge without sidewalks in order to go for longer walks into town.
The people are friendly, and kind, they genuinely care. I would choose to live here again, except for the climate. With the lake so close, we get horrible winters and horrible summers. Fall and spring though are quite nice.
Most stores are expensive, but there are more moderately priced stored in the towns surrounding us.
