While Shepherd is a small and low-income town, it has many quirks. The close-knit community is just one of the many reasons we enjoy the charming town. However, because of its size, there are very few franchise businesses within the area. If we want to go to Taco Bell we have to drive 30 minutes out of our way. In addition to the distance from the city, we have very little activities. Our town contains two small parks but that is about all. Instead we have to go even further to do anything interesting.

Shepherd is a nice warm place to be in however the opportunities are limited and most people don't have much ambition to go out and do much of anything. They either want to do what their father or mother does or have dreams of doing big things with no plan to get there. Mostly people are supportive for peoples dreams but the town is so country that any city eccentric ideas are frowned upon because you want to be "city".
I would like to see the town grow. I would also like to see the town be cleaned up and for the neighborhoods to be held responsible for being neat.
