Speaking strictly of my neighborhood, I feel very safe in this area! People get outside and enjoy activities. The neighbors are friendly and visible outside. There is a state patrolman that lives up the road, I think. I see the car parked outside the same house.

As for the town itself. Drugs are a huge issue in our small town. But I think in our area, the police are doing a good job. I really haven't felt threatened or unsafe in any way. Of course, every town has it's issues. But all in all, this feels like a low crime area and the police patrol often.

It's a small town. There isn't a lot of entertainment venues. I don't want to stay here because the career that I am moving towards is not readily available in my hometown. I see many of the shops and business moving out of my area to surrounding towns. My neighborhood is decent, safe, friendly, and a good place to live. I have seen younger families move into my neighborhood with children. Many of my neighbors walk their dogs, job, bike, and get outside in general. I will definitely be back on occasion to visit family and friends.
