Shelburne is a friendly clean town. It's quiet and safe and has everything you need close by. There's a great museum with beautiful grounds, Shelburne farms which are fun for kids, and great place to learn hands-on experiences with animals. The restaurants are excellent, and the hiking trails are great for a workout.
One of the nicest towns in Vermont. The public school is excellent, and there are multiple private schools to pick from. Shelburne has a private beach for residents only, historic Shelburne Farms and Shelburne Museum.
Nice people, friendly town. I come from a poor family so it was a little difficult fitting in, the kids in elementary and middle school were very wealthy and were a little mean but once I went to high school in Hinesburg, VT it was a little better. I work in Shelburne and have had that job for almost 4 years and I really like the people that I work with.
