Sharon Reviews

Sharon, CT. consider to be a small town and have a population of almost 3000 people. It is about 5 mins from New York and 15 mins from MA. Local Fire and EMT are all volunteers. Not much going on here, very few restaurants. But people are friendly and helpful. Honestly, nothing really can be changed as people are very happy with whats going on here. Not saying that, things shouldn't be changed.
Just like everywhere else, I think the local polices should be changed as the selectmen spending money for something he really doesn't understand nor the town needs.

Sharon is a small yet up and coming town. It is in a very rural area, so there is little to no nightlife. There are a few new shops/cafes in town, and some new buildings being reconstructed by Rafe Churchill. There is a small grocery store in the middle of town which provides an array of fresh produce. The middle school in the center of town is regarded highly. High School students go to an outside town about 10-15 minutes away. There is a highly regarded barber in the middle of town as well. There are quite a few community events, many of which revolve around the historical society. They tend to host art shows and openings every week or two which brings many people together. The legion hall also puts on dinners once a month, as well as the firehouse which holds a pancake breakfast once a month. The town is roughly two hours from New York City. Overall, it is a quiet area to live, but it is primarily for families.
