I am newer to the Shannon Hills area and I absolutely love it. It is a very quiet place to live. The children play in the streets and it stays very clean!

In my small city of Shannon Hills the police do the bare minim. We have a group of kids in our neighborhood that have been causing trouble, they say inappropriate things around small children, ride their motor scooters out in front of cars, scooters that they are operating illegally, and have broken multiple rules at the neighborhood pool. Multiple people have contacted the police complaining about these kids and they have only paid them a visit once. It didn't stop them. I do not feel safe with the police we have currently here in Shannon Hills. They are lazy and out of shape.
We have lots of local businesses in our area. Many of these businesses are restaurants. They are excellent service and great food. We also can get almost everything we need within just a 15-20 mins radius. The local Walmart offers a great variety of items and we have many small grocery stores that provide healthier food and locally grown crops. We have lots of small fashions shops that sell more specific items one would need for the perfect outfit, but you can take a short drive to Little Rock and shop at the big company stores. No matter who you are, you can be satisfied in Saline County.
