Sewickley Township Reviews
Its a good place, plenty of woods, some small local bars and taverns, lots of farms. Its right in the foothills of the mountains with plenty of hiking and some lakes and ponds. Just don't expect a booming nightlife or any thriving downtown areas. Its your classic rust belt town, suffering from blight.
I absolutely love it here. Such a nice, small community. Everyone knows everyone here. Very easy to make new friends and the public schooling is amazing.
Our town is covered by the state police, we don't actually have our own police force. So the problem is, when the police are called, it can sometimes take them hours to respond and show up to the scene. And people have come to learn this, so more and more people participating in illegal activities have moved into the down. Namely, drug addicts, drug dealers, and thieves. The town used to be quite peaceful but in more recent years I've noticed a spike in crime and an overwhelming amount of tragedies, such as one shooting, several drunk driving accidents, and even cases of arson.
