We are close to many things, including 3 parks, a bay, 2 malls, New York City, and Staten Island just to name a few. There are plenty of major name supermarkets, however, we still have family markets, "Mom and Pop" shops, farmers markets and a weekly farmers market in town! There are plenty of places to go and things to do for families and young children. The school system is good. Many of the families that are living here have been living here for generations, such as my family, my grandparents, parents and myself have all gone to the same middle and high school. Its very friendly.

The industrial area can be smelly and i have concerns about my health. There is one bar in the town, a post office and a pizzeria. It would be nice to have more, but we aren't far from town, you can walk there.
I live in a small suburb on the coast on New Jersey.

As one might expect, pollution is something of an issue here, and there isn't very much in the way of majestic nature nearby. But what we do have going for us is the people. We are packed to the brim with individuals from all walks of life, all countries, all religions; we have a breadth of viewpoints that is to be envied, and the bulk of those viewpoints come from downright friendly people. It's a good area. despite its flaws.
