I believe that the small town of Sergeant Bluff is a great place to live. A friendly environment and excellent school education makes this area great. House prices can be higher in certain areas but it can be affordable. It is nearby Sioux City but don't have the hassle of living in a huge city. I do wish that there was more activities and events that happen. I do like the outdoors and bicycling to new places which there is trails and some parks. Overall, this is a great town if you like smaller town feeling but close enough to a city for jobs and basic necessities.

I love living here because the people are mostly friendly and community is wonderful. The school and the staff that are a part of it are really dedicated to teaching and making sure each students learns. People generally get along and because it is a small town, most people know everyone.
I've lived in Sergeant Bluff since I was 3 years old. It has really grown since we moved here. I like the small town feeling but being able to drive 7 miles to the city. We are growing & getting more food places to eat which is nice also.
