It's not easy to get a house here, but if you have the opportunity, don't let it pass.
It's like an Oasis in the middle of the massive growth the area is experiencing. Huge lots, massive trees, NO HOA, there are deed restrictions - reasonable ones, that protect from anything horrendous being built/done. Not annexed by the city, likely won't ever be. If you've ever dealt with the taxes and red tape of living in city limits, you know why this is a prize.
You can do pretty much what you want on/with your lot - park your RV, boat, trailer, etc. Put up an outbuilding, mother in law house, etc., as long its w/in the DR.
Harder to get the houses in the Country Estates portion, but if you can, act on it fast, it's worth it. Bigger lots, tucked back in the neighborhood, backs up to Logan Ranch. QUIET!
Can't believe we were going to spend as much on a new build that was so crammed in that we could hand a plate to the neighbor through the kitchen window.
Amazing here.

It's a nice, quiet suburban area where nothing all too much goes on. We have several great schools in the area and downtown Georgetown is a ten minute drive just about. If you are looking for a medium sized town like Georgetown, Serenada is the best place to live.
The safety is a very important factor for this town. they do a good job at keeping an eye on everything. The police force is helpful and available at all times. same thing with the hospital and fire station. There is very little crime in this area. I have very little safety concern for this town.
