I’m from Keowee Community in Seneca. It’s a lake community, very family oriented and safe. Schools are excellent, especially Keowee Elementary School. Their test scores are the best in Oconee County. Because Lake Keowee is the center of this city, summer makes for many sporting opportunities including boating, water skiing, fishing. We are located at the foothills with numerous hiking trails and parks.
I love this wonderful town! The people are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home, no matter where you are from.
I moved here at the end of 2001 and this is now my home. From the beautiful mountains to the lakes, there are hiking trails and wonderful fishing wholes.
I feel like I live in a place where there is always a new adventure.
