Working in Selma
My name is Melanie Barbee I live in Selma, North Carolina. Selma is a really small town and has very minimum opportunities. I've lived in Selma 18 years and the best part about it is you basically know everything that goes on. I think Selma could inprove with more local park and family things to do.
I have lived in Selma, NC for about 16-17 years now and I love that it is such a small town. Selma is one of those towns where everyone knows everyone. Growing up I was able to be around all of the kids that I went to school with. Selma is one of those places that if you blink you will pass it, its just that small. The people here are generally kind and will go out of their way to help you if you need it. I truely enjoy living here and can see myself living here for a while longer.
Selma is a quiet town to live in and the views from the countryside are amazing. What I would like to see change is downtown Selma because there is a little number of stores and its not interesting.
