My family and I have moved about six or seven times all around San Antonio in a mere five years. I have lived in a, close to, three thousand square foot house to a one bedroom room hotel, accompanied by my family. I know quite well the suburbs of San Antonio. Selma preserves some wildlife, for example patches of woodland for deer to live in, unlike any ordinary place it also has a very calm traffic vibe, contrary to the city, which suites families with children. I can honestly say that coming home relives the stress one can accumulate during the day.

It’s a very friendly area and is also very quiet. Located close to shopping centers making trips easier!
Selma has a small town feel but it's so close to San Antonio that you have everything you need. There are loads of mom and pop places to explore and I get a kick out of finding them. There's always events going on near Retama Park and River City Community Church. Selma is considered part of Schertz at many businesses and they do provide discounts (like YMCA and the library). The only thing no to like is the constant traffic of IH-35 and 1604.
