Sedona is a great city for nature lovers, there's many mountains and beautiful areas to hike here. The town is clean and feels perfectly safe to walk around in the night or day. Most people living here are retirees or older folks in general.

The biggest issues for me is that there are not many job opportunities here and the cost of living here is very high. Most jobs here revolve around catering to tourists, so if you are not a 'people person' it might be very hard to find an enjoyable job. If you are a younger person and not already an established professional it might be difficult to find a full-time job or make enough to live here.

Both buying a house and renting in Sedona is expensive, though there are some areas specifically for retirees which are resonably priced.
Another thing is that there aren't many things to do here besides hiking and outdoor activities. Also the tourist season can get pretty crazy, and the traffic can be pretty bad at that time.

Beautiful small town. Living in Sedona is like living in a national park. The beauty is unreal. Living in town means hiking is, at farthest, a quick walk down the street. Small town business is lovely. Tourist season gets quite busy, but doesn't last forever!
As a teenager growing up in Sedona it is extremely difficult to flourish here. Opportunities are slim, diversity in activities is even lower. The schools here has a huge drug problem as well. Which makes sense since it is a retirement community that does not suit a teenage lifestyle. Everything closes around 7, there aren't any activities for students, and the tourist traffic is unbearable.
