A very friendly community to ride your bike on nice summer afternoons! Nice education (including the local JROTC program) with caring staff. Excellent choices in local businesses, a well taken care of downtown, and the community is very involved!

Through my experience at the elementary school I went to as a child, I constantly got sick as well as many other children, there weren't enough textbooks for us to use, and I had a lot of trouble learning things like multiplication. I went to a school in the lower income side of town, and the school itself had some issues. All the other public schools were in a lot better condition than the one I went to in both technology and supplies, but there have been some obvious changes since I was there. The changes are the only reason I give the public schools three stars.
It's a great town of around 20,000 people with a great educations system. Plenty of job opportunities which grows everyday. Sedalia has everything you need to survive including grocery/clothing stores, gas stations, and wonderful scenery.
