I have grown up in Sedalia, and this place has a lot to offer! Our downtown is being updated so that our stores can return and new shops are popping up. I think this place is a great area to start off at since homes and rent are affordable. The local SFCC campus is also a nice place to start when you don't want a big party scene and want to focus on school.

A very friendly community to ride your bike on nice summer afternoons! Nice education (including the local JROTC program) with caring staff. Excellent choices in local businesses, a well taken care of downtown, and the community is very involved!
Through my experience at the elementary school I went to as a child, I constantly got sick as well as many other children, there weren't enough textbooks for us to use, and I had a lot of trouble learning things like multiplication. I went to a school in the lower income side of town, and the school itself had some issues. All the other public schools were in a lot better condition than the one I went to in both technology and supplies, but there have been some obvious changes since I was there. The changes are the only reason I give the public schools three stars.
