Sebastopol a wonderful gem in California near the ocean & against a redwood forest. If you're interested in horticulture or agriculture, you would agree w/ Luther Burbank on this being the best place on earth to grow anything.. In Sep. an annual Heirloom Festival where you learn a lifetime of knowledge from heirloom seed saving to soil regeneration w/ a focus on ecology & a love for our land to learn not leave a negative footprint on our earth. An awareness of where your food comes from is a treat. There is a common a goal to become sustainable citizens. Locally grown & raised food in your kitchen from many of the hard working local farmers & their weekly markets. Local restaurants share what the farmers have grown w/ fresh farm to table food, makes any restaurant you choose delish! Music venues for any type of sound you are in the mood to hear makes for a fun night out any day of the week. It is expensive to live in this area so be prepared.

It was a lovely place to live. A little hippy, had nice weather, and was very vegetarian/vegan friendly. The people are typically quite friendly.

Pros:
liked the apple blossom festival, the farmers market, and Screamin Mimi's.

Cons:
It is a small town and there isn't much going on over there. Downtown is literally 2-3ish blocks. I know housing is expensive but honestly what do you expect when coming to live in the bay area anyway.
Although the town activities and businesses are generally catered towards senior citizens, the town itself is extreamly safe and entertaining to live in. It is very quirky and we ever have our own word for the people the truly embody the hippy, care free lifestyle: Sebastopolians.
