2 Suburbs with the Lowest Cost of Living in America
- Town in Louisiana
Current Resident: In my community we do not call it North Vacherie. The whole Vacherie is divided into many factions giving each faction a small town name. Each of the small towns are in different districts causing us too attend different elementary schools. But eventually we all meet up in high school which is Saint James High. Everyone knows each other and that makes it good because we all have each other's back. In Vacherie, we happily do not experience any type major crimes or threats in our community. My community experience one horrific crime, an it was the killing of one of our vacherie. We all took it hard and came together as a community too help the family. My community is very protective of the kids and that's what I love the most. The parents throw parades for us, Easter egg hunts, and etc. Our school board is very excellent in providing us with the best education you could give a kids. They offer us various dual
Enrollment courses for future purposes. I couldn't ask for a better city.

- Suburb of Indianapolis, IN
Niche User: I love this area. It's right by the interstate and has plenty of services available (food, gas, etc.). There is a highly-rated elementary school and high school right beside each other. The town is small, quaint, and safe (night walks can be taken without a second thought). And the general atmosphere is friendly.

- Suburb of San Antonio, TX
Niche User: The general area is the best to suit me and my lifestyle. It gives me the comfort and privacy of the country life but at the same time, a drive into the city takes about 15 minutes at the most. There is plenty of land and I am surrounded by wildlife such as deer and hogs so it makes the entire feel of the area very rustic. If I had to do it all again would definitely choose to live here if I was provided the choice to. There are plenty of convenience shops so i never feel like I am short on resources. It is the perfect oasis for me.

- Suburb of St. Louis, MO
Nearby Resident: I currently live in High Ridge, Missouri. I love the quietness of the town, and the fact that it isn't busy like a city, but it's also not dead like a middle-of-nowhere town. Fenton, MO is a close drive, where shopping places like Gordmas, TJ Maxx, and Target can be found, but there's also a wal-mart within 5 minutes of High Ridge. There is a local library that has children programs going on frequently, and a wonderful children's librarian. There are absolutely no downfalls to living in High Ridge, and I would recommend it to everyone!

Current Resident: Moved to Martinsville a couple years ago. I had lived in the country for 25+ years before my move to Martinsville, where we bought a home in a rural neighborhood. It has been an absolute blessing for our family. The schools are absolutely wonderful and very involved with the kids receiving great academics. The people were extremely welcoming to my family, which let a big relief off our shoulders!! I couldn't be any happier to our small town of Martinsville!
