    Current Resident: We moved to Fruit Heights a little over a year and half ago. Absolutely love it here. Yes, we live in a predominantly LDS community. Although we are not of the faith....we have been welcomed into our neighborhood. Our children are always being asked to participate in neighborhood activities. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and there is just an overall sense of pride in the area. It's beautifully close to the mountains with mature trees. We are close to restaurants, shopping, hiking, lakes, quick commute to the city for Ballets, Museums, and Theater. Great schools and recreation. Neighboring Kaysville provides great small town atmosphere and events.

    Current Resident: I have lived here my whole life and I really don't have a desire to leave, I have loved living here. It has grown alot in the past decade but the city has adjusted well to the growth and has taken advantage of the many opportunities from it. We have an awesome amusement park called Lagoon, farmington is in a great location to both Ogden and Salt Lake City, only around 15 minutes commute to either, there is a great new shopping center called Station Park in the heart of the city. There is alot of pioneer history that has been preserved over the years as well as the beautiful Wasatch Mountains to the east. The school system is top notch and a new high school just got built which is very high tech. Overall Farmington has some of the nicest residents you'll ever meet and is a great atmosphere for families!

    Current Resident: Bountiful City is large. I have lived in Bountiful my entire life and I love it here. I love the community, the great schools I attended, and the with the public transportation developing, it's easy to get anywhere! Bountiful has beautiful mountain views, wonderful public parks, and all the entertainment needed for any lifestyle. Being so close to Salt Lake City, it is the perfect city to live in and commute to work. Winter can be hard with the amount of snowfall, but Spring and Summer are very pleasant. Fall is my favorite season in Bountiful because of the cool temperatures, beautiful Fall leaves, and closeness to National Parks that are filled with fun trails and sights. Bountiful is great!

    Former Resident: I have lived in Centerville my entire life and I have loved it there. The people are very kind there. It is also at the base of some mountains, so there is plenty of hiking and biking trails and other outdoor activities. There are several elementary schools in Centerville, and 1 Jr. High School; however, the closest high school is Viewmont High School which is on the boarder of Centerville and Bountiful. There are also plenty of beautiful parks with basketball, tennis, and racquetball courts. There are plenty of fun activities to do in the summer and in the winter. In the winter, Centerville gets a lot of snow which makes sledding and skiing fun activities to do when it's cold outside.

    Current Resident: Very good town. I love the area, it is the perfect combination of urban and rural areas. I love that I can just drive right down the road to get food from multiple different places but also be so close to just a normal housing area. It is extremely clean and is very well taken care of. I always feel safe and I am never worried that I am in danger or in trouble. A very well taken care of city.

The commute to Salt Lake City is only around 10-15 minutes. my family didn't want to be in the middle of all the action in downtown since we appreciate our quite time, but at the same time we don't like the big commutes. North Salt Like is the perfect place to be close enough to downtown. I've been living here for almost a year now. I love it!

    Current Resident: I love living in Woods Cross. I have had a good experience with my neighbors and the schools in the area. I am very connected with others in my neighborhood. The commute to other areas for work and college are decent. There is a train station nearby which makes commuting a little easier. There are several parks where kids can play and be safe. Housing can be more expensive in this area, but it is much more affordable than the Bountiful area. There is no much diversity in my neighborhood. My only wish is that there were no refineries and long freight trains. The refineries can make the air bad in the area, especially when it gets cold outside and winter come.

Families take pride in volunteering to help benefit the youth of the communities. It's a church going and religious community. And many wave as you pass them. There are only a few businesses in town, so you do need to travel for most things. Homes are pretty pricey here compared to the neighboring cities.

    Current Resident: I love Orem, I maybe bias since I grew up here. Over all it's such a well rounded town. There are families who have lived here forever, a University that brings in a lot of college students from all over and people who end up staying and having young kids. It's not a huge city or a small town but the characteristics of having tons of restaurants, parks and a Mall makes it so there's always plenty to do giving it a city vibe. Then the neighboring canyon and lake allows for the outdoorsy small town people that vibe as well. Highly recommend as a great place to live in Utah county!

    Current Resident: Pleasant Grove is a good little city! I have grown up, and still reside here to this day. There is a great mix of young families with "experienced veterans" and it shows. There is still a great pride in the traditions of old Pleasant Grove such as the Strawberry Days festivities, maintenance and use of the city parks, and historic main street, pair that with the massive growth currently taking place in and around the city and you have a great place to live. Pleasant Grove is the perfect mix of historic, small town, rural Utah and the innovative big city life.

    Current Resident: American Fork is a very family friendly city with young families and safe neighborhoods and schools for them to attend. There are many activities and events for all ages to get involved, socialize, serve, and have a good time. There are also a large variety of shops, restaurants, schools, and anything else you might want. Traffic isn't bad at most times of the day. Weather follows the typical bi-polar Utah weather, but it's doable. I have lived here for about 11-12 years and have rarely found anything to complain about, except maybe the lack of diversity, but that doesn't dampen living standards. Overall, I have really enjoyed living in American Fork and would recommend it to anyone!

Home prices right now are cheap, and there are new developments, when everything is all put in you will be able to sell your house for much more than you bought it for. Everyone is friendly out here, nice parks and sports out in Eagle Mountain as well.

    Current Resident: I have really enjoyed my time here in Saratoga Springs. It is growing with more young families, but more stores are headed out this way including a movie theater and bowling alley! It is very family friendly and a super safe place to live. However, even though it is growing I would like to see the city part, outside of the homes, grow a little more. There is nothing to do out here and for young individuals it can get boring. I would like there to be more things to do. It would also be nice if they can finish construction. Make a final plan. Not a plan that everyone knows will be revised 5 years later. It is expanding and the city needs to recognize that.

    Former Resident: Highland is a great place to live. The cost of housing is high, however. But the neighborhoods are safe and quiet, very family friendly, and are well established. There are a lot of options for outdoor activities within a few minutes of Highland. You have American Fork canyon, which gives you access to hiking trails in the back country and Mt. Timpanogos, the Alpine Loop, which connects to Provo Canyon, and many other options from Thanksgiving Point in nearby Lehi to easy access to some of the trailheads for Lone Peak. If you have to commute to Lehi or Draper, the drive time is quite fast - you can reach Draper in 15 minutes, and Thanksgiving Point in 5-10 minutes, depending on where you are coming from in Highland. Overall, it is a great place to live!

One of the best things about it is that it is close to everything that you need, but also not super crowded like Los Angeles or New York or a place like that. It is a great place to live with kids, as the public schools are top notch and safety is a priority. I was even invited to a few neighborhood watch meetings within a week of moving in!

    Current Resident: Ive Lived in Alpine for 14 years. Moved there from California. My kids were welcomed into the schools in a way that made the transition great. We have room in between our homes . Little more rural but shopping and entertainment is 10 minutes away ... No crime to speak of ... My neighbors are the best, I would have a hard time leaving ... There is no place like home!
    Tech companies are close and the jobs are here ( silicone slopes )
    Community involvement... And yes parades down main Street and the Rodeo during the ALPINE DAYS CELEBRATION! We love it here in Alpine Utah

    Current Resident: It's a beautiful area nestled in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains, and aptly described as "the city between the canyons", as it's a short ride into Big or Little Cottonwood Canyons for skiing or hiking. It's a good area to live and work, and it's extremely close to the 215 belt route which allows easy access to the University of Utah and downtown Salt Lake City. There's a recreation center, bicycle paths, and some beautiful parks sprinkled throughout the area. Additionally, the city sponsors remarkable community events, including it's crown jewel, Butlerville Days held around Pioneer Day (7/24).

    Real estate is highly sought after and relatively expensive, so the area tends to lean towards upper middle class. Older neighborhoods tend toward a mixture of families with older children and older couples, while developments have a mix of everything. The population is primarily white.

    Current Resident: I have loved living in Midvale! The neighborhoods are friendly and inviting and safe! Close enough to downtown making an easy commute but far enough away to leave behinf all the "big city" drama. No matter what store you need, you're no further than 15 minutes away. Traffic can sometimes be awful- especially on Saturdays by Fashion Place mall off State St., but you learn to just avoid these types of area's.
