Current Resident: Overall, I am very thankful to have grown up in Brentwood, TN. We have an awesome public school system. Our city is well maintained, clean, and very safe. To add on, we have great public works, such as roads, public parks, local law enforcement, etc. It is a great place to live, no matter if you're a young family or retired. I also think it has a very good balance between commercial and residential areas. In the commercial areas, there are plenty of restaurants, shopping, services, and more. The residential areas are split into a older and newer homes; the older neighbors are charming and quaint, while the newer neighborhoods have outstanding architecture and a cool, modern feel.... Nearby Resident: Nolensville is not just a town, it is a community. It has a warm feeling that I am lucky to call home. I really enjoy the many years of tradition, including our lighting of the town Christmas Tree every December or the Buttercup Festival every April. Also, Nolensville has plenty of small businesses that not only support their customers, but the community as a whole. Every event and fundraiser is supported by the local businesses, such as catering from Outlander's Southern Chicken. This restuarant single handedly feeds the entire town's population through school events and/or regular sit down eating in their ecletic resturant. Current Resident: I recently moved here and I fell in love with the city. I live near the edge of town, where there is a lot of farmland, but I love downtown Franklin as well! Everyone is very friendly. I find out new things about Franklin everyday, whether it be a historical site or just a pretty neighborhood I hadn't seen before. Overall, even though I have only lived here for a few months, I love the city. Current Resident: Great place to raise a family. Really nice outdoor spaces and friendly neighbors. You feel safe walking around any time of the day. All of the public spaces are very well maintained. It’s also a very quiet neighborhood, this are so quiet you can hear the crickets at night. There are a lot of active people always walking, riding bikes or playing at the local park. The crime rate is also quite low up here on the mountain. Current Resident: This is a great place to live. My son can ride his bicycle everywhere without fearing that he is going to get attacked or hit by a car, we feel safe going for a walk in our neighborhood and if we forget to lock the door, we don't worry about it. I agree with the guy saying that people calling SM safe and, at the same time, complain about the lack of diversity and not liking conservative people living here, are very amusing, those reasons are why SM is safe and pleasant to live. If you don't want this kind of environment, there is Chattanooga next door, there, you can find plenty of diversity and less conservative views. Current Resident: This small town on the edge of a relatively large city (Chattanooga), is the perfect combination of quiet with a lot going on. It's a college town like few other college towns. Current Resident: Mount Juliet is a wonderful city 20 minutes from Nashville. An area that continues to grow, you can find something to fit all your needs. Issues with traffic have come up, but there is development taking place to resolve this problem. I see it as a smaller Nashville in a sense because it continues to grow and there is something to do for everyone. Mt. Visitor: My experience at Maryville was incredibly positive. I immediately felt welcomed and at home after arriving. Everyone I came into contact with was welcoming, friendly, and warm. The campus itself is stunning, and there are a ton of interesting things to do there. I could easily spend days exploring the area and admiring its beauty. The academic programs are excellent, and the staff and faculty are always eager to assist and respond to inquiries. Overall, I can only speak highly of Maryville and would advise anyone who is thinking about visiting or studying there. Current Resident: I love the town of Red Bank. It has a good community/small town feel while being close enough to Chattanooga's downtown area to access larger events and businesses. Current Resident: My experience with South Fulton, Tennessee is a positive one. I could not imagine sending my son to school in the Jackson Madison County School System. South Fulton seems safe, inviting to anyone of any age. Just married and feel like settling down? Buy a home in South Fulton, TN where your children can grow up with the best education the public school system has to offer. There are also Christian schools in Martin, TN. If you are ready to retire and just want to fish and read books, then South Fulton, TN is your ideal destination of retirement away from busy city noise. Have you heard about the black panther in Obion County? Keep your eyes peeled for a black panther that recently made headline news in Las Vegas and every other major city in the US. Current Resident: I like the many things that you can do in Elizabethton. The shops downtown are always a joy to visit; the people there are very helpful and polite, and the products that each place sells are things that I am always looking for and it's very convenient that they are right downtown! The places that aren't downtown are also very convenient and affordable. Current Resident: Brighton is a beautiful town with a wonderful community of people. There is very little crime. The public school system is debatable though. Current Resident: Wonderful peaceful feeling! A place I love to come home too. People are friendly but not in a nosey way. Great biking roads and many ponds/lakes, easy access to interstate and rarely heavy traffic. The landscaping around the homes is gorgeous. I just wish we had a town square with some great restaurants and sidewalks on both sides of street in residential neighborhoods. Also check out the drainage in your yard before you buy a home. The developements have poor plans for water drainage. I do enjoy low taxes because we have no schools. I hope to keep it that way.... Read 4 reviews

Current Resident: Dayton is a small town where people greet you with a smile, wave on the streets and yield in traffic to let you in front of them. There are many locally-owned businesses that sell antiques, trendy clothing, flowers, farm-fresh fruits and veggies and crafts. We have large fishing tournaments since we are located on the TN River. There is hiking in Pocket Wilderness and other outdoor activities. We have a private Christian college (Bryan College) in town where students are heavily involved in our community. We have an annual Strawberry Festival which brings about 10,000 visitors. We have most denominations of churches in our community. There are plenty of civic organizations as well. We have a Care Center where men and women can come for parenting resources and support. We have a community center that offers year-around sports for youth including travel teams.
