Current Resident: Moving to Swansboro was a fresh start for my family. Formerly I went to a private school and switching to public presented myself with tons of opportunities. Swansboro is such a lovely old town, and the people are the sweetest. Despite the urbanization Swansboro has kept its roots and specifically its famous downtown area. Preserving this old area has brought many people together for events, food, and live music. Without Downtown Swansboro the people of this town would not be as connected as they are today. One change I would like to see would be the clean-up of brush and old run-down areas. Some places are bear with no grass or have old cars rusted and covered in overgrown vegetation. Cleaning up these areas would help to bring beauty back into the town and provide for more areas to build new opportunities.... Read 40 reviews

Current Resident: Greenville is the perfect mash between city and suburban area. As a college town many resources are allocated to the community, allowing high school students, like me, to get a sneak peak of the college experience. Greenville has also provided me with great experiences and community outreach programs, such as Pitt Greenville Soccer Association (PGSA) and the local Food Bank. Although Greenville has treated me great for the past 17 years, I would love to see changes to the local hospital; ECU Health. My mother has been a speech pathologist for the past 20 years at ECU Health and we both agree the city should fund the hospital more, allowing employees to be rewarded more often and facilities to be updated.... Current Resident: My experience in Canton has been mostly pleasant. The people are the main redeeming factors in this town, as most of them are friendly and compassionate. An example of this would be the neighbors who live next to us, as many of them asked if we needed help when we first moved in, which was much appreciated by my family. Opportunities for socializing are pretty good, with concerts, festivals, and parades all being frequent events where I meet new people. Safety is not a big issue, as many officers are patrolling through the town, and there is rarely any conflict between them and citizens. Current Resident: My experience living in Hope Mills has been somewhat uneventful, which is good. I do not believe I could handle a town packed with action. There are many peaceful settings for people who want to relax. My favorite locations are the library and the lake by the local Dam. Accidents are so minimal, that you could travel to Hope Mills library without any worry of cars crashing. My only complaint is that the Middle School (Specifically Hope Mills Middle School) needs to get its act together.
