#8 Most Diverse Suburbs in Michigan
Muskegon
Current Resident: Muskegon is amazing. This wasn't always the case, but in the last 10 years there have been substantial upgrades! Downtown is fun with 3 or 4 breweries, 2 distilleries, sports bar, convention center, duckpin bowling, several new restaurants, and lots of new apartments going in.
Pere Marquette beach (Lake Michigan) is breathtaking and now has a one-of-a-kind restaurant/beach bar called the Deck... Indoor and outdoor seating, 3 or 4 outdoor bars, a band shell where you can dance in the sand, etc. all within view of two lighthouses and 180-degree, panoramic views of Lake Michigan. You can even beach your boat nearby in the shallow, crystal-clear water and walk the beach or party with friends.
Lots of great museums, arts, and great schools. Definitely recommend living here.... Read 96 reviews
