Tustin
Current Resident: I lived in Irvine for 17 years, and through my entire young adulthood, I always hung out in Tustin. The food, the businesses, and the culture are all far preferable to any other city in Orange County. (Shout out to Comics, Toons, and Toys on Newport Avenue for their absolutely bangin' annual Free Comic Book Day outdoor fair. So much support for small artists!) I'm in love with Old Town, obsessed with the artisan shops and small businesses there, from the used bookstore, to the coffee shops, to the boutiques. (Also did I mention the coffee? Pretty sure I LIVE at Kean.) The cuisine in Tustin is my favorite in the county, and that's stacked against famous hotspots like Garden Grove. G.G. is great if you're hungry for a bahn mi, but for pizza, it's gotta be Centro in Old Town, hands down. And for burgers? Look no further than Peter's Gourmade on Newport Avenue; best shoestring fries! I'm proud to be a Tustin resident since 2019. I just wish that more restaurants were open late!... Read 215 reviews
