Current Resident: I like that it is a small town. It is home to the best bakery ever known as the Slaton Bakery. I would like to see a change in redoing some of the roads and remodeling the town.

Current Resident: I have lived in Wolfforth for six years now since moving from Sacramento CA. The city is a fast-growing suburb of Lubbock and is probably the most expensive area to live in the Lubbock area.
The great school system in Wolfforth with many of its high school students graduating to attend Texas Tech and great schools through the country. Being that this is Lubbock Texas tech is highly pushed on students but remember your kids should go to a college where they want and will provide them with the skills they need not what is most popular.
Wolfforth county, however, has some issues with property taxes, many people have sued the city to change since property taxes keep being increased but the value of homes is not going up which is not how economics work.

Current Resident: As a resident of Shallowater, I've come to love this small, safe town. Although Shallowater is only minutes from Lubbock, there are no restaurants in the town itself. The town includes no activities outside of school, but it is a very safe community.
