Current Resident: There's a lot within walking distance. I live near a McDonald's and a gas station called SuperAmerica. There's a Walgreens nearby, two dollar stores, and an auto repair place. There's 3 bus lines close to me as well, and if I push myself, I can walk to a public library or a grocery store called Cub Foods. I'm two miles from Downtown Saint Paul, so I'm able to skirt game day traffic. Living off from a main road means it's fairly quiet too. I haven't had to deal with any violence, so I've been fortunate. The worst I've dealt with is illegal fireworks and someone scratching my car in the parking lot.... Read 29 reviews

Current Resident: Webber-Camden is a small, peaceful neighborhood. It has amazing library and recreational areas. There are small family owned convenience stores. I would like to change the amount of energy, it is quite low as most of its residents are retired. It would be fun to have more neighbor block party's and gatherings. I love that my neighborhood lives by the principle of subsidarity. When my neighbor, who is 65yrs old, can no longer take care of himself, he turns to us and other neighbors. Current Resident: I love this neighborhood! I have found the public school system to be above standard, the residential areas to be quite quiet and safe. Most amenities (Target, Cub foods, Walmart, TJMaxx etc...) are just a quick 3 minute- drive from this area. I would recommend this neighborhood to anyone looking for affordable safe living!... Current Resident: Brooklyn Center is a nice quiet area to live in, especially for families and elders. It is calm, collected, and full of life. Brooklyn Center is exceedingly family-friendly with many parks, trails, and public schools. So, wherever you go there is sure to be kids and residents walking around enjoying the outdoors. Brooklyn Center also supports many small and local businesses. For example, Brooklyn Center has some of my favorite small Asian cuisine businesses! More importantly, Brooklyn Center is a boiling pot of numerous cultures that reside here and contribute to the community with unique lifestyles. However, with all these great aspects, Brooklyn Center is a middle-class suburban area, meaning public schools, parks, and some buildings may be old and need restoration. Although Brooklyn Center may not be the wealthiest of suburban areas, it contains great history and community. Current Resident: A beautiful city with lots of fantastic museums, restaurants, and schools. Lots of talented artists and performers here. Sadly, the local government isn't equipped to house all its residents, and good people are regularly denied housing. Homeless shelters aren't funded enough nor equipped to handle the current demand. Current Resident: A very diverse town, could be described as a melting pot of cultures. Not much "entertainment" (no movie theaters or malls" but there are towns in the surrounding areas that have some. A few sit down restaurants, mostly typical American fast food. Many grocery stores, a few coffee shops, and a few places to shop for clothes and other miscellaneous items. Most neighborhoods are nice, a very safe place to live. Historic homes, walking distance to grocery stores and great dining, and 5 minutes to I94 and 35E gets you anywhere in the metro in 20 minutes or less. Current Resident: LOVE the west side. Bought our house in 2019 and like it bc it’s still a suburban neighborhood feel but it’s still close enough to get the perks that down town has to offer without actually being down town. AMAZING food options all around. Public school system isn’t the greatest but we send our kids to private school anyway- St. Joseph’s in WSP has been the best experience for our kids....
