#10 Most Diverse Places to Live in Michigan
Works Here: I really enjoy exploring Lansing, MI. I may be biased because I went to Lansing Community College, a college within the downtown area. Lansing has great restaurants, my favorite being the Lansing Brewery. I also enjoy the coffee shops downtown such as Gipson's. There are so many family-friendly museums and attractions Lansing offers such as the R.E. Olds Museum, Impressions 5 Science Center, Michigan History Museum, Potter Park Zoo, and Michigan History Center. As one who does not drive, I appreciate the amazing public transportation. Some bus routes are free! Many locations are conveniently close and I can easily bus there. I also enjoy walking around the State Capital and reading on its history. Someday I hope to work at the Capital in Video Production. Although many places are great in Lansing, there are some areas not safe to walk alone at night (like the southern area). Overall, being in Lansing has been a wonderful experience.
