Current Resident: I love Duluth! I will start by saying I am not from Georgia, and I am very picky about where I call home. I visited many areas of GA in search of a place that’s safe, clean, and comfortable. I can definitely say you will get that with Duluth. The streets are clean, the parks are nice, the grocery stores are clean and feel safe. You don’t have people just hanging out. Mostly everyone I have encountered is pretty friendly. Current Resident: This is a small town with the energy of a large town. There is shopping, parks, restaurants, fast food, the Chattahoochee River, and so much more. A lot of these things are all within walking distance of each other! I personally love Simpsonwood Park, but there is so much more to do and enjoy. Another great place is Downtown Norcross- a very quaint part of the town with so much to do. The one drawback that I could give is that there is a somewhat large conservative population, but if you are conservative that should be fine. Current Resident: Lawrenceville, GA, a city brimming with charm and warmth. I loved its vibrant community, filled with friendly faces and a strong sense of togetherness. Current Resident: The community of Lake City is a great place. I have lived here for almost all of my life and it is such an amazing place. The people around the neighborhood are such great neighbors. If there is ever a problem we always help each other out. Around the neighborhood there are parks for the kids to go play. There are also sign around the neighborhood when the community is hosting a community service such as donating to those in need or when they are going to put up the christmas tree up so everyone can go and celebrate.... Current Resident: Construction everywhere! Mableton is going through a phase of change with lots more construction of subdivisions. I wish for Mableton that it gets "cool" one day like Woodstock, they should have a brewery here. Maybe even become an Incorporated city. Shopping is fabulous, everything is very close. The silver comet trail is great for biking and walking. It's 30 minutes to downtown in the morning and around 45 minutes to North Druid Hills. There are mostly retired people and young families here who will probably move away once their kids need to get into better schools. Very diverse area! My neighbors come from all places. Current Resident: Buford has the best schools in the state of GA. They are a City school, with the amenities of a private school, with the academics of a college. Not only are the academics top notch, the athletics and arts are amazing. There is Main street, where you have the nightlife of downtown Atlanta, with restaurants, shops, bars, and greenspace for walking. Current Resident: Amazing oasis just outside the perimeter. Safe, quiet, incredible sense of community, abundant parks, school system that has proven strong for 30+ years. Current Resident: Growing up in Tucker has been amazing! It is a wonderful city that is very close-knit. It has multiple elementary schools, 1-2 middle schools, and 1 main high school. I had the opportunity to go to school in the city. The amount of diversity I grew up in my wondrous! I love having friends from all cultures. It's a 15-35 minute commute to downtown Atlanta, but only a 10-15 commute to the nearest MARTA station (Atlanta's public transportation). Current Resident: I have been living in Loganville for about 8 years and I would definitely say I like it! There has been a lot of construction over the years and the majority of the buildings here in Loganville are fairly new. There are still a lot of upcoming developments, residential and commercial! The school ratings in the Loganville area are pretty good especially since Loganville is in Gwinnett. I like how it is not too close to Atlanta but not too far away. It is not an extremely loud area yet it is not silent like the country. Some things I would possibly change about Loganville is that there could be more things to do for kids and teenagers in the town rather than having to travel to another one to do things! I also would like to see more diversity especially in the grocery stores because everyone should feel welcomed. Current Resident: I have lived near Fayetteville for about three years now and my favorite thing about it is it’s connivence. There’s a plethora of grocery stores, shopping plazas, restaurants, and activities for kids, teens, adults, and families. In addition to this, it’s a great and upcoming area for new families to move to. New houses and apartments are being built everyday, there’s an ample amount of job opportunities, the schools are rated as the best in the county and the nearby area, and Fayetteville is one of the most diverse towns in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Fayetteville also provides residents a healthier way of living with 3 workout gyms, and multiple healthy restaurants. Lastly, Fayetteville is a safe environment. It has the lowest crime rate throughout all of the metropolitan area. My least favorite thing about Fayetteville is the traffic.
