#3 Most Diverse Places to Live in Palm Springs Area
Current Resident: When I did decide to move from Los Angeles I researched many cities in California . Desert Hot Springs is a small town and has a small town feel .I feel safe here, it is quiet and peaceful. Light traffic , convenient shopping , pretty desert and mountain views are all appealing to me . If you can’t find what you need the whole Coachella Valley is close by .Palm Springs is just 10 minutes away and provides Walmart ,Trader Joe’s, Home Depot , Target ,etc plus tons of places to eat, museums ,concerts and activities. If you like the outdoors there’s places to hike and Joshua Tree National Park is close by.And I can still drive into Los Angeles if and when I need to as it is only two hours away. Did I mention casinos too? Yes it’s hot in the summer and it can get pretty windy at times but even that has not been a turn off. I totally recommend my new city Desert Hot Springs .
