Current Resident: Waynesboro is a cute small town with a lot of small businesses that support each other. We have a large high school that was newly renovated a few years back. We get some snow in this area during the winter but not a lot. I like Waynesboro because it is a close knit community. We have a community pool and activities in our town square. We also do a Christmas tree lighting every Christmas. We are growing though as well know chains make their way to Waynesboro. One thing I would like the change about Waynesboro is the fact that we don't have a local homeless shelter here. We don't have many homeless people in this area, but there is some and I would like to see a shelter be funded and made to even further help protect and support our community.... Read 33 reviews

Current Resident: It is a nice town. It is the town my college is located in so it's a very convenient location for me. It does not have too many fun activities to do but there's a few nearby restaurants and attractions that are worth visiting. I am 45 minutes away from Hershey Park, 45 minutes away from Hagerstown MD Outlets, an hour away from Washington DC, 3 hours from New York City, 4 hours from numerous beaches. I guess it's not so bad living in a small town in Pennsylvania when you can travel quickly to many amazing places. I live near many farms and wooded area and I love living in the country. Something unique about the area of PA that I come from - there are many Amish and Mennonite folks that live on my street and own a lot of local farms. Current Resident: I really love living in St. Thomas township. I have lived in multiple different homes in this area over the years and the environment was always very good. Most houses have decent space in between so you have some privacy, but can also be near your neighbors if that's what you prefer. The one thing I wish was different is the diversity. There isn't much diversity and is a predominantly republican area, but this is to be expected when living in a rural area. Nearby Resident: I live near Fannett Township, and am very connected there. My dad drives a bus for Fannett - Metal Highschool, and I have played several sports there as a registered homeschooler. Most of my friends live there, and they say that the nightlife is good. Now, like any other town, we have our crazies, but they are know locally, so no one is really concerned. Crime life is nonexistent, due to the fact that it is such a small community. We "valley-dwellers" joke about what we would do in a national crisis. The general understanding is that we would blow shut the interstate tunnels that come into the valley, and set guards at all of the mountain passes. We have an old tank for one of the World Wars in a cemetery, and that could be refurnished back to use. So all ya'll that would enter uninvited, beware!! LOL I have had two jobs in Fannett Township, one as a cashier, and one as a shepherd. So there is variety here.... Read 3 reviews
