Nearby Resident: We live in New London Township, that is within the West Grove Postal Delivery area. Our house is about 3 miles southwest of the town. West Grove is a small town (about 3,000 people) and has a very small business district. A few small restaurants, a post office, a gas station and that is about it. But we have a nice selection of shopping within a twenty minute car ride of our home: Walmart, Rednor Super Market (Oxford) , Lowes, (Avondale) Giant Supermarket (Jennersville), and Kennett Square shopping centers about 30 minute car ride to the north. Our kids are grown up, so we don't have much personal experience with the school systems in the area, but they seem to function smoothly. This is a VERY nice, tranquil place to live.... Current Resident: I love Chesterbrook. It is such an awesome community! The schools are great and the people here are lovely and nice. There are so many opportunities here such as jobs. The communities are very diverse and I find it very family friendly. Thought the pricing here is a little expensive, it is definitely worth it! Chesterbrook schools include Conestoga High School, and TE Middle School, both are great public schools and ranked fairly high in the country. Niche User: Moving here has been the best thing my parents did for me. Our area is country but not too country. There is beautiful farm land and streams, along with some neighborhoods and an occasional restaurant here and there. There are few traffic lights which add to the ease of driving around the area. At night, it is quiet. No traffic noise, only the sounds of frogs and crickets in the darkness. Kids aren't sitting inside playing video games. They are, instead, outside playing kick the can, flashlight tag, and catching lightning bugs. During the day, they are catching fish in the streams and exploring in the woods learning about nature and the environment. This was my childhood. It was that way when I moved in 12 years ago and is still that way today. The area is growing but townships have put limits in place in order to preserve the environment.
