Current Resident: Wenatchee is the best city in Central Washington because of the low crime rate, great public education, diversity, and kindness from the locals. Wenatchee is an amazing, thriving, and special place for anyone who lives here. As a high school student, I have loved living here because everything is within a 15 minute drive which is great on gas and being out at night is safe compared to other cities like Seattle or Spokane. Leavenworth, Chelan, Cashmere, and Quincy are all within 45 minutes and are great places to visit during all times of the year. From the Christmas Lighting in Leavenworth to the awesome Lake in Chelan in the summers. Wenatchee is an amazing place to be in anytime of the year. The Loop Trail is great for running, jogging or biking which is good for the health of people of all ages. Wenatchee has it and is just an special and great place.... Read 73 reviews

Current Resident: Cashmere is a lovely and quaint town. It is surrounded by mountains and fruit orchards, which give it its green appearance. The community is fairly warm and welcoming, and generally willing to lend a hand when needed. There are a large number of activities that can be done such as outdoor and tourist activities, even touring Leavenworth, which is only a few minutes away. Current Resident: Manson, WA is a small town located on a 55-mile long glacier fed lake. The community is supportive with many local stores helping the town. The farmers market in the summer is busy with local and tourists browsing arts, crafts, homemade goods, and farm fresh vegetables. The lake allows a place for recreation in the summer, and in the winter Echo Valley Ski hill is fun to take the family for skiing, snowboarding, and sledding. Current Resident: Very safe and beautiful area with great schools. Not much diversity though, and the drive to the high school can be a real pain. Current Resident: I enjoy how small this town is. By this town being so small, it allows community members to get to know each other. It is fun going for a walk at the park and easily being able to recognize someone because of how little our town is. It is also fun going to the gas station and being able to talk to the staff because we see each other all the time.
