Current Resident: My favorite trait about living in Gwinnett County is its diversity. The numerous converging cultures within the region make finding a delectable meal an adventure in itself. The varying people in the area help create a secure and comforting atmosphere that never leaves me feeling out of place. Although, Gwinnett is best known for its prestigious education. Many move to Gwinnett County in search of better schooling for their children. This great migration of families has led to overpopulation in the classrooms preventing some individuals from seeking particularized assistance. While it is honorable that Gwinnett is getting recognized for their scholastic prowess, I would like to see more schools being built to sustain the number of new students moving in.... Current Resident: Solano county is a great place to live. It’s is very diverse and has very kind and social people. There’s also annually events such as fair and contest, which are found for all ages. It’s a great location to be because it close to Sacramento and the Bay Area. It’s also not to far away from Tahoe or Reno. The weather is perfect in fall and spring, hot in the summer and low 60’s to 50’s in the winter. Current Resident: Good place for family. Not many parks with fences, but lots and lots of great parks with nice grassy areas and play structures, and splash parks for the hot days. Elk Grove elementary is an excellent school district. Nice libraries in the area. Good housing options. Can’t speak to downtown much, but I have been to a nice restaurant there! Seemed like people were getting ready for a fun night. Love the composting program- just use compostable bags in the kitchen, and throw it out with the green waste. Makes us feel much less bad about occasional food waste, and also we generate much less trash. People are sociable enough, without being intrusive. Current Resident: Orange County is diverse and tourist-friendly. There are lots of activities to take part in for fun. All for the purposes of culture and inclusion. The environment itself is open and welcoming. Tourist attractions like theme parks, beaches, and malls are near this county for residents and tourists. Having an annual pass to Sea World parks and Universal Studios parks have to be my favorite thing about living here. There are many diverse cultures that allow us to have a variety of food options, whether in grocery stores, food trucks, or restaurants. Not only are attractions close but also, healthcare facilities such as hospitals, clinics, vets, and pharmacies. My family and I have been living here for about eighteen years, meaning I grew up here. Former Resident: Loved it, I lived in Hoke for 8 years. Its a very military town that has so much to offer its residence. Its very close to Myrtle Beach if you want sun and sand or the same distance you can end up in the mountains in Ashville. The schools are rated higher than other counties in NC. Nearby Resident: Though my time at Dallas County is pretty short, I remember having good times with my family. I used to go to church every Saturday when I was young Dallas County is pretty big and so much was going on, but going to church was probably the most prominent church I've visited. Outside of religion, there are many places to go, there are colleges and libraries where students or anyone to go get their degrees or put time into reading. Pretty unique restaurant in the middle of the county, I love the Italian restaurant though it's rare for me to come by the place. There are food trucks in Dallas County Park that are delicious to try. There is an Art Museum that anyone can visit and even for students for field trips. For any architecture, is a variety of old and new buildings but have a few unique ones, the Reunion tower, for having a sphere structure, builing that lightup at night even on holidays, the Courthouse, and the JFK assassination site.... Current Resident: The downfall to growing up on the island is that we are limited to what the islands have to offer. Current Resident: Harris County has safe and comfortable family neighborhoods and large green spaces for kids, teens, or pets. There are multiple different schools in the area that kids can go to and many locations in the area to take dance classes, karate, swimming lessons, and many other fun opportunities. Current Resident: My experience with Jefferson County is really great. The people are super friendly, and there is a lot of space and open areas. There is a very country lifestyle here as there are many farms. There is so much support of the local school and its teams. The only thing I wish we had more of is local restaurants. Current Resident: I have grown up Union for all 22 years of my life. I have seen Union grow, from seeing my friendly neighbors down Morris Ave to the Italian festival. My family has been residents of Union Township for 28 years and have brought all four of their children to Union High School. As Union is continuing to grow and building more apartments. I hope that the township’s continues to show and respect their community and hope to bring back festivals that help bring us together. What I really did enjoy from Union this past Spring was when they used to have food trucks come by city hall and will try various of cultural dishes. One thing I know is that food really can bring a community together and I have me people with small businesses and how blessed it was for them to share their story. One things Union has is the respect for the small businesses that are currently in Union and I hope that they continue to thrive as well. Former Resident: I believe that over the 10 years of living in Hudson County, I have felt safe throughout my town. Not to mention, welcomed by the huge community we have! The community provides several activities throughout holidays and does a great job bringing everyone together. Hudson County also contains a variety of people with different background and has an endless amount of stores. My family and I never had a problem with buying things because you can find anything and everything near you. For instance, convienence stores, gas stations, grocery stores, different types of restaurants, crafts stores, and the list goes on! Moreover, Hudson County has several transportation opportunities. There are several bus and train stations that allow you to travel to several areas, including New York. Current Resident: What I like most about this county is that they provide easy access to things that are necessary. For example, if you need something fixed you can easily find someone to help you out.
