Current Resident: It is a quite county for the most part. There are three schools here in this county and we all seem to get along most of the time. This county comes together when there is a crisis no mater which town it is. There is lots of little towns in this county and as spread out as they are everybody is family to each other.
We may not have a lot of things to entertain as far as movie theaters or things like that but we have rodeos and this county concentrates on the kids activities such as football, basketball, FFA, 4H, Scouts, rodeos and anything else the kids can do.
Alfalfa is a county that if you want down home cooking, peace and quite to yourself or just want to watch the day go by you can.
