Current Resident: DuPage County is a great place to live. Their schools are great & everyone wants to live in a place that is safe & has a strong community feel to it. The majority of residents that I've interacted with are extremely friendly and kind. Their are many Lutheran churches in the area. Great place to start a family & raise children. It's also close to Chicago where you can get to the city by car, train or bus.

Current Resident: Clinton County provides a very tight-knit community to all members. The public schools and private school in the area have high standards of education and place a value on extracurriculas for their students. The support from town to town is tremendous. Local restaurants and sports teams are a vital part of the county. It is a very safe community and fun to live in at all ages.

Current Resident: The county as a whole is filled with friendly and diverse people. There is a wonderful mix of suburban, Midwestern, and city culture, with diverse residents in most cities. Unfortunately, due to the significant income gap between places such as Lake Forest and Waukegan, it encourages a gap in the quality of public education between districts and the consistency of a public atmosphere is not always comparable.

Current Resident: McHenry County is extremely family friendly and offers plenty of diversity for any families planning to move here. It has relatively safe suburban neighborhoods about an hour and a half northwest of Chicago. Depending on the town, the rating of public schools can differ; however, Cary, Crystal Lake, McHenry, and Prairie Ridge offer great school systems. Commuters will find that these towns often have the most traffic though as Rt. 31 runs directly between them. Despite the traffic, McHenry County offers plenty of job opportunities and its companies are generally always hiring. One thing to note is over a majority of their companies require a highschool diploma or GED. Furthermore, beware of the property taxes in Bull Valley as they tend to be higher than in other towns. Yet, any town in the county offers plenty of opportunities and scenery to enjoy with family.

Current Resident: More things that are fun for the family would be nice. Low crime rate in this area is nice to see. Will county is growing,eventhough Illinois has more people leaving the state than coming in. Police officers seem to be not to picky and seem to be very fair in the area. Will county also has the largest led lighting Santa claus in America during the winter months.

Niche User: Being such a small, close community, we really don't have many crime activities that happen. If something severe does happen, everyone knows about it in minutes. The situation is usually taken care of right then and there. The police are constantly on duty but I feel very safe in this area.

Current Resident: Kane county offers experiences for everyone with reasonable driving times. There are many restaurants, retail stores, movie theaters, bowling alleys, hiking trails, and golf courses. Growing up, I received excellent education which allowed me to pursue a college of my choice. Also, it is a very safe community which parents enjoy raising children in.

Current Resident: For the most part, Champaign County is a nice place to live. Recently, however there has been an increase in crime, such as shootings, fights, and drug abuse. This is in a very small section of Champaign county and is resolved fairly quickly by our amazing police department. The best areas of Champaign county are the ones further from the city- I like to call it "Country Living". You are further from city lights and sound, you can be one with yourself, and really enjoy natures beauty without being off the grid!

Current Resident: Cute town, not a lot of things to do though. A few parks and a nice recreational gym. Lots of fast food places to choose from and many more to come. Easy to commute to other towns for shopping because of two major interstates passing through the town. The town feels safe, but because we do have two major interstates, we have some drug activities
