Current Resident: Fantastic place to live. My wife and I moved from Houston TX, and couldn't be happier. Longmont is a little more laid back and less expensive than Boulder. Parks and hiking/biking trails abound. Not much traffic and not an interstate to be seen, which is a huge difference coming from the Mega-freeways of Texas. Residents are generally friendly and kind-hearted. People are fairly environmentally conscious and lean left-of-center politically. More so in Boulder than the other towns. Low property taxes compared to other states. Boulder has an abundance of economic opportunity, especially around technology and startups.
The housing market is rapidly becoming unaffordable for working class families, which is a shame. Many locals are being pushed East out onto the plains where the property is cheaper. But that speaks to so many people moving here and wanting to live in Boulder county. I anticipate this trend will continue for the foreseeable future.

Current Resident: I’ve lived a lot of places and when it comes to natural beauty Marin is probably number one. With over 85 percent of its land set aside as ‘open space’ meaning parks and protected wilderness it always will be. The ocean is on one side the bay on the other. San Francisco is just across the most beautiful bridge in the world and wine country just to the north.
Quant towns that look like Rockwell illustrations and a Mediterranean climate round it all out. Marin has quite an interesting history that comes from rock stars, hippies and periods of ‘anything goes lifestyles’ that have thrived here. The population is on the wealthy side but it’s not flashy or snobby like Beverly Hills type of enclaves. That is even frowned upon. The schools are great. The politics are liberal. It doesn’t have a lot of racial or ethnic diversity mainly because building restrictions and land use policies don’t leave much room for a diverse nor affordable housing stock.

Current Resident: Albemarle County is just such a beautiful place to live with the blue ridge mountains. You feel like you're in the country without being far from the city of Charlottesville. It's great for people who love nature or being surrounded by trees. The weather is moderate; we don't worry about hurricanes, tornadoes, or earthquakes, just the humid heat of the summer. The schools here are the top rated especially Western Albemarle High School. Overall, a great place to live.

Current Resident: It is an overall great place to live. People are typically nice and the school systems are great! There are a lot of businesses to look around at including clothing stores, restaurants, arts and craft stores, the mall, antiques, bakeries, libraries, movie theaters, entertainment places and more. It is looked at as a small part of Southwest Virginia, but it has a lot of personality and the community is based on togetherness.

Current Resident: Sheridan County is a place full of do-ers and dreamers. Seated under the vast Bighorn Mountain range, there are a myriad of outdoor adventures that await you. Summer and Fall offer some of the nations best fishing, whether you're floating on a kayak on a mountain lake, or following a wide open stream with your fly rod. New trails unfold for mountain bikers and hikers, offering breathtaking views and heart-healthy family fun. The downtown community of Sheridan reminds you of the old west, with it's rustic décor and timeless charm, yet still finds a way to entice guests seeking a more modern experience. Follow Interstate 90 just 17 miles north, to find the quaint communities of Ranchester and Dayton. Life along the Bighorns happens at a different pace here, where large ranches and rustic landscape lie in plain view. Follow the road on through on Highway 14 to enter the gateway to your mountain top adventure. This wonderful county in Wyoming reminds us that life is worth living!

Niche User: It’s a super small town with lots of back roads. Mostly everyone is friendly. The have upgraded and built an amphitheater which is super nice. But other than that the town does not have anything for kids to do other than parks that get trashed. I would love to see Ohio County put their foot down in the littering and build something that children can do even in the winter.

Current Resident: My name is Kimberly Noriega. I am currently a Puerto-Rican high school senior at Wake Forest High, and in dual enrollment courses at Wake Technical College. I’ve lived here for roughly 4 years and loved each and every one of them. Wake County is an amazing area to live in. There are so many events, shopping plazas, good restaurants, and places of entertainment. Bored? No problem, go to downtown Wake Forest! After school, I sometimes go with my friends to downtown Wake Forest and bowl, play pool at Shorty’s, and take a stroll through the beautiful town.
One thing I would like to seek change in is keeping Wake County’s trees and environments for animals. Currently, there is deforestation in Wake Forest. It is saddening to see new apartments and corporations being built on top of forests thriving with plant and animal life.

Current Resident: I'm a current student here in Columbia. Overall I like it. There's plenty to do if you want to go out; whether it's the zoo or bowling or clubs and bars. The most irritating thing about living here is the road construction that lasts for extended periods.

Nearby Resident: Would love to move here for schools. And because it’s a great area. Very safe neighborhoods and very nice subdivisions. Can’t wait to find a family home for me my husband and 4 kids. If y’all know of any houses for a resonable price please let me know. Are any sites I can go on to get a four bedroom house at a reasonable price. I would greatly appreciate it because we ready to move as soon as possible.

Current Resident: I enjoyed living in Bergen County because of the close community interaction. The local town events bring people from all over the county. My grammar school offered many actitives. There was Boy Scouts, baseball, basketball, football, summer camp and as a teenager, Bergen County Cadets. My high school set the stage for me to stat thinking about college. My history teach and I enjoyed many conservation regarding current issues and public views. He stirred my passion for political change. One reason I decided to major in Political Science.
I always feel safe, I remember having Sunday dinners with several neighbor families where we left our doors unlock. With the many parks, there were pony rides, jogging, dog parks. As I became a young man I often went into NYC? Where else can you have both country and city live styles? The count consist of many different nationalities, a true melting pot.
I recommend living in north Jersey. The beauty and fun is great but even better are people.

Current Resident: I like it here. You can definitely find a job. I however would like to see the juvenile detention process change. The system here seems to tear families apart. You would think a mom knows her child. But with the system they send your kids to group homes to see if it would help but the group homes are nice that families would love to have. They shouldn't place kids with families with big houses but they do promising things that the child could do. Most of the kids have good families and go on vacations already so sending troubled children there is not okay.

Former Resident: Flanked by the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains to the west, the ambling waters of the Nation's River, the Potomac, to the south, bounded by the infamous Mason-Dixon Line to the north, and surrounded by a patchwork of pristine farmland to the east, Frederick County, Maryland has it all. It's the perfect mix of hip, urban, trendiness with relaxed country living. Fresh, organic, foods are raised locally, and transformed into culinary creations at Frederick's lively downtown scene. Its public schools ranked 5 years in a row with Maryland schools as #1 in the nation! Jobs are diverse and plentiful in Frederick, but D.C. and Baltimore are a close commute, helping protect the local economy from recessional downturns. Catch a concert, visit a winery or hike a national park here. Discover why Francis Scott Key, the Star Spangled Banner writer, called Frederick his home. With few crimes, about 50% ethnic diversity, and so many things going for it, Frederick County is living at it's finest!

Current Resident: Middlesex County consists of many great cities, including the city I currently reside in- Lowell. I have been to many of the cities and each and every one of them has something new to offer. Lowell is the second most populated city in the USA with Cambodians. The Cambodian culture is very rich within the city such that a part of Lowell is known as Cambodia Town. Middlesex County consist of the capital city of Massachusetts- Boston. Boston is probably what I love most about Middlesex County, simply because there is so much you can do there. There are many places where you can shop, eat, and sight-see. Ultimately, I believe Boston is a city that has it all.

Current Resident: Born and raised in Gwinnett County, it is amazing to have witnessed the development of this area. The diversity here has grown
significantly as opposed to 10 years ago! In Duluth and Snellville, lots of shops and restaurants are opening up for you to explore with your friends on the weekends. There are some excellent schools as well. From the most conservative to the most liberal here, it gets quite interesting. Overall Gwinnett County is ideal for families; with outstanding schools, a range of lower to upper middle class demographics (depending on area), affordable home and living, as well as a very tightly knit community. In short, it’s the perfect place for a child to learn to ride their first bike in! As a younger kid, I did not like how old school southern we could be at times, but I’ve come to appreciate it. Everywhere you go, you will meet someone you may know, everyone is friends with each other here.

Former Resident: Cherokee County is indeed nice place to live. A person can go from back woods hill-Billy to big city within a mile. While in the back woods you can see all kinds of farm animals from cows and horses to pigs and turkeys can’t forget the lambs and goats. The roads are taken up with tractors and horse drawn buggies. When heading into the city one can see all sorts of different types of food, from home cooking to fine dining, from sit down and eat to fast food. In the city the houses are spitting distant. One thing I love to do is bowl and the Cherokee lanes with friends.

Nearby Resident: Madison County is actually a beautiful place to go to once you know your way around. Not only do you get scenic views, but you also get to make new friends within the small community. The schools themselves aren't half bad and their newspapers show that they are a very active community. They send love and support from all around and focus on those around them making them very selfless. Madison County is very open-minded to new strangers entering, as they'll show them how to get from point A to B in a matter of seconds. They are also known to be very open with outsiders and create new friendships while continuing to spread love and positivism within the community.

Current Resident: There are many mom and pop shops in the local area, and many of them are artistically pleasing to visitors from all over the US. Every year there is a festival and all the college students from the area treat themselves to great entertainment and beautiful views on the beach. I would like to see bigger name branded stores in the area, especially for how busy the downtown area can get during the warm seasons. All year long there are job openings and the cost of living is just outstanding from any place i have ever lived. The schools here are very up to date and allows parents to flexibly get involved with their children's learning. Overall, it is an amazingly peaceful place to live.
