Current Resident: I have lived in westernport almost my whole life. I left for approximately 10 years when I was married but I came back. I love it here. Its layed back here, not to mention your in the country. No where near all the fast pace life of the city. There are alot of activity to do outside, hunting, fishing, camping, 4wheeler and dirt bike riding all kinds of fun activity to keep everyone out of trouble. Current Resident: I live in the outer part of the neighborhood, and it's really peaceful and quiet out here. Neighbors are mostly old white friendly sleepy people. No crimes have been reported near where I live, and the school is in walking distance, around 3-5 minutes away, 1 or 2 if you're driving. There are a lot of kids, even the ones that think they're gangsta but really aren't. Deeper into the neighborhood is still quiet, and more diverse. Current Resident: Hello, a great place to retire to. It is the poorest city in Maryland but Maryland is the wealthiest state in America. The police are effective and on the job. Criminals go to prison and stay while you conveniently shop and schedule mini vacations. We have everything from a casino to restaurants to charters to NYC to see museums, conventions and shows such as the Radio City Rockets. Current Resident: A great place to live especially if you can work remotely full or part time. LOW crime rate, endless water and biking opportunities. School investments per student well above Maryland average. Good seafood restaurants, friendly government and locals. Alot of interesting historic homes many of which are receiving multiple offers and selling over asking prices. Four of Americas best ocean resorts are a short drive away, and Salisbury is 30 minutes and has one of Americas best hospitals, s great university, and Marylands second largest jet airport. Current Resident: Hello, my name is Breiona and I was born and raised in the Cherry Hill community in Baltimore City. Cherry Hill is a great neighborhood, it's full of love, working moms and dad, and full of great talented kids. However as I get older I see a change, most people believe cherryhill is a horrible place to live and to be! Although I believe if our activities wasn't taking ( far as our recreational center, our fields,and basketball courts,and school) then our kids that people call "gangsters, and bad guys" would have something to do. We are a community filled with young people that want to get involved more, that want to attend school, that would love to learn a sport or a trade, but how can we when we don't have the resources??? Current Resident: Smithsburg is a small historical town with a close-knit community, local pride and nice residents. The town consists of a bar and a small dinner, an elementary, middle and high school within a mile from each other, two grocery stores, two gas stations and Whispering Hills, which is where majority of the housing is. Current Resident: I'm a new homeowner in the neighborhood and I've had a very good experience. Ramblewood has an older population, not many children on my block or neighboring blocks. Current Resident: Frostburg is a quiet little university town with a wonderful downtown area. The unique shops, fun events and historical buildings give you a small town feel.
