Current Resident: Whiteriver Arizona is home to the White Mountain Apache people and those who love the outdoor life. There are beautiful breathtaking views everywhere. Whiteriver is absolutely perfect all year long because of all the four seasons. The recreational activities are endless, from the white-water rafting in the Salt River to camping, hiking, and fishing which is practically limitless just like the amazing game and wild-life. Every year there is an annual Pow-Wow which is held close by the beautiful Hon-dah Resort and(means welcome) Casino. Current Resident: Kayenta is a very different place from all over. It is just another town on the Navajo reservation that is not known but has amazing stories beneath it all. There are so much people that are and were very well known in the small town. It is a small town but everyone has big dreams of making an impact on this place. It is very scenic! About 20 miles away, the biggest outdoor museum is located right there! Monument Valley. Everyone knows everyone here and feels safe just like any other place. It has very good education and anyone could be able to afford this place. The healthy living is up to you, making friends with everyone, pretty soon they become and treat you like family. Nearby Resident: I grew up in this town on the Navajo reservation. To me, this is home and always will be. I would like to see improvement of roads, main routes, alternative routes, residential routes, so this may help the community get from place to place. This area currently get the four seasons each year and make roads a bit of a challenge as most routes are off main routes, dirt roads. With improvement of roads, this will boost regular commute travel, help improve local real estate, and with emergency transportation. There are much more challenges that need to be met but improving most all roads would be a great help and effort toward improving the living environment and systems within the areas.... Current Resident: I love being in Holbrook because of the people, jobs, and affordability. You will never meet one person who isn't friendly and helpful. The jobs are diners or small franchises, perfect for high school students who want to work part time, and everyone gets home on time for dinner. As well as the jobs, the stores in this small town are so affordable, people can buy multiple property if their hearts desired. Current Resident: Tuba City is located in the Navajo Nation it's a small town that I like and it was where I grew up most of my life. It attracts several tourist every year since they do have an interest in seeing the Navajo Nation and what it's like being here. Its beautiful, wide, and important to the Navajo people. Current Resident: Great town to live in! Family oriented, small yet tight community. Not a lot to do for children, but I feel they are improving that. Visitor: Leaving Pennsylvania after xmas to check out Arizona. We are tired of the North East weather. And Arizona seems much warmer and land prices are far better than Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania is extremely expensive, rent, taxes!!! Time to leave.... Read 5 reviews

Niche User: I kniw putting 5 stars on a town you've not lived in mightcseem strange but after having read about it, it sounds wonderful. Some reviews clamor for entertainment fir kids and teens but Americans during previous NORMAL generations entertained themselves, it was called using your mind, hobbies, Boy Scouts, hiking, building small projects, make a kite and fly it,, wood craving,, self reliance,, growing food. Nearby Resident: Benson is a family oriented town with reasonable accommodations and public services. It is the shopping center for many surrounding communities including St. David and Pomerene. Current Resident: Douglas, AZ is so Mexican you either like it, or you leave. If you love Mexican culture, this is a great place to live. It is small, but that makes it peaceful and safe. It is a safe place to live, with generally low crime and it's a great place to live in the world, considering all natural disasters and other dangers that may be out there. The schools are decent with a few wonderful teachers. In Douglas is Cochise College ranked 3rd best community college in the country and is a wonderful place to be. Cochise College has small class sizes, professors who actually care, and the best tutoring you can get.
