Current Resident: Small town with an old time feel. Friendly people. Love living here. Community get togethers and Main Street is amazing. Family friendly and the schools are amazing as they are not overcrowded like some other cities. Love the small town grocery store and the antique shops on Main Street. Easy to meet new individuals. Love the community so much that I am trying to find doctors, dentists, optometrists etc so that all business is conducted in Collinsville Oklahoma. If you want a town that has the small rural town feel but is close to other cities that have everything else you may need in regards to shopping etc then Collinsville may be just the town your looking for. Everyone is so close in my neighborhood street that it feels like an extended family. There is a wonderful park for adults, families and children to enjoy. You will see individuals jogging, biking and enjoying the day on the sidewalks up and down Main Street daily. Collinsville truly is an amazing little town. Check it out!!!... Read 44 reviews

Nearby Resident: Wonderful city with tons of new development. Yes the poor rating is due to the housing being very expensive in Bixby. You are looking at half a million for a decent home in Bixby which is higher than the national average given we are talking about Oklahoma. The city itself is extremely clean and most amenities are very close. Tons of coffee shops, costco, eateries, boutiques and big box stores. Extremely friendly neighbors and the proximity to south Tulsa is a huge plus. A big sense of community and highly educated residents. Lots of entrepreneurs and folks in medicine/law. Family friendly town that welcomes folks from ALL religions. Several schools also outrank Jenks. Overall a nice well established city with an affluent population. Good foundation to retire, raise a family or work. Only downside is the highway to downtown is not very close unless you take the turnpike.... Read 95 reviews

Current Resident: Everyone is super nice. The community would come together in times of need. School districts care about the students well especially their mental health. Acadmic is on top as its competitive and a lot of students who graduate who to top colleges. Barely any traffic since there isn't that much together. A lot of community parties/hangouts....
