Current Resident: Paducah is an upcoming small town with a variety of restaurants to choose from. The schools are filled with extracurricular activities and the graduation rate is 81%. I play on two different athletic teams and I love them both in their different ways. Neither team is exactly top in the region but we always compete with rivaling teams in the area. The school functions like dances are set up great; they are always huge successes. Along with other school functions like prep rallies. Prep rallies at my school, McCracken County High School, are always above and beyond. However, once you know every nook and cranny of the small town it feels like there isn't much to do. Paducah does have a mall that is bigger than most small towns.

Niche User: This was a great area to experience my childhood years. The school system was great and this area is very into High School sports. The whole area is very willing to show their school spirit while also showing up for the rivalry games. I would definitely live here again if I had to do it over. People from all over the world come to Paducah for various things, one of the main ones being the Quilt Show every year. People are fascinated with our town and the character it possesses. We also have traditions that are very appealing to others such as BBQ on the River. This is a big festival in downtown Paducah where numerous stands are set up and competitions are held. Paducah continues to grow and expand. In my twenty years of living here, it has made very vast changes. The area continues to get new restaurants and businesses.
