Current Resident: My experience living in Hope Mills has been somewhat uneventful, which is good. I do not believe I could handle a town packed with action. There are many peaceful settings for people who want to relax. My favorite locations are the library and the lake by the local Dam. Accidents are so minimal, that you could travel to Hope Mills library without any worry of cars crashing. My only complaint is that the Middle School (Specifically Hope Mills Middle School) needs to get its act together. Instigating is a norm there, which immensely diminishes one's self-esteem for a better future.... Read 94 reviews

Current Resident: I love all the nature and outdoor activity you can do with family. There are amazing parks that you can go too and learn about native plants, animals and so much more. There are plenty of hiking trails and with the mountains just an hour or so away that is also an option! If you like museums there are plenty near Fort Bragg! You learn about the history of our military and the planes that were used. My husband and I try to stay very active and there is ALWAYS something to do! On date nights we have a large amount of restaurants to chose from. Our favorite so far is Bubba's! There are also bubble tea spots. I have never had it before and it is honestly amazing.... During the 2020-2021 school year, the school remained open for in-person teaching during the WHOLE year due to the dedication of the administration staff and faculty. Current Resident: I love living in Spring Lake, NC. I am close to so many places to eat out. Plus there are so many niche places to grab a coffee, smoothie or something to eat. Walmart and Walgreens are also very close. I have lived in both a house and an apartment in Spring Lake and have found both enjoyable. Spring Lake has a lot to offer for a small town. It is minutes from Fort Bragg so it makes an ideal location to live in if you are in the military or employed as a contractor on post. I highly recommend living in Spring Lake. Current Resident: I have lived in Linden, NC since 2002 and my husband and I love this place. It is nothing but country! We raised our 3 children in Linden, they attended Long Hill Elementary, Pine Forest Middle and High Schools in North Fayetteville. We are about 15 minutes from Fayetteville, Lillington, Erwin/Dunn, Wade, just about any of the surrounding towns can be driven to in about 15 minutes. Linden has just upgraded the new park and put in a splash pad and the kids love it, as do the parents! There are a couple of local stations that you can go to if you need something fast, there is a post office, where you get a personal touch. Everyone knows everyone in this little quaint town....
