There are schools in this community ranging from Elementary school all the way to High School so your children can attend school in the neighborhood. Current Resident: I just moved to Nocatee about a year ago, and I fell in love with it! It's a community with different, smaller sub-communities within it, and everyone that lives here is extremely friendly and welcoming. By living here, you gain access to many of its amenities, such as the gym, tennis, pickle ball & volleyball courts, and even the waterpark! You also are allowed to attend Nocatee's exclusive events, such as Food Truck Friday Night! One of my favorite things about living here is seeing everyone drive around on their golf carts (yes, this is a golf cart community!) Current Resident: Coral Gables is a beautiful neighborhood in the center of a Miami. The more endearing quality of Gables is its pedestrian nature, one of the few places in metropolitan Miami that you can describe as walkable. They have two boulevards: one in Giralda and the other in Miracle Mile, and there is a plethora of places to visit that have cultural relevance, such as the Coral Gables cinema that puts out international and indie films to the public. Current Resident: Fleming Island offers a great combination of very nice houses with mostly paid off (CDD bonds) HOA amenities. HOA fees are very low compared to South Florida for example. Where we live, Eagle Harbor, we have a golf course with low green fees, two swim parks, boat docks and tons of playgrounds and parks. Fleming Island is also comparatively safe (especially compared to nearby Jacksonville). The island (peninsula really) also has a movie theatre, large box stores, a hospital (Baptist) and many restaurants. Homeowner and care insurance premiums are also very reasonable compared to other communities closer to the beach. The population does generally skew rather older but this has a charm all in itself. However, for those seeking a lot of nightlife and/or diversity and/or very progressive outlooks on life, will likely not enjoy it. Fleming Island generally is very patriotic and rather conservative. Current Resident: My neighborhood Winter Park Pines is beautiful and so safe. We are surrounded by great neighbors and so much stuff to do. Everything is within a 10 minute drive and very easy to find. Our neighborhood also has an entire athletic park right around the corner including football field, soccer field, baseball and softball fields, swimming pool, a whole gym, and a track area. There is also a walking/biking path in our neighborhood too that leads right to our friends apartments in Baldwin Park! I don’t have enough good things to say about our neighborhood.... Current Resident: It was rough living there during COVID, but the experience has been mostly positive. Neighbors keep to themselves but are friendly. People are pretty educated, keep up their properties, and don't allow kids/animals to run wild. The weather is great. Local public and private schools are top-notch. Current Resident: The people in this area are very friendly and there is tons to do in the area being that it is close to tourist spots (Disney, universal, etc). This also gives us bad drivers, but more diversity and exciting people to meet. Our roads are nice, the area is clean, and also safe. The schools are pretty good and new housing developments are pretty common. There are lots of good restaurants and shopping opportunities. Current Resident: I moved to Oviedo Florida in 2017. We built our first home here in a gated community near A-rated schools. I attended Oviedo High School, which is known for Its academic performance. My school offered several AP classes and dual enrollment opportunities for me. In addition, Oviedo Is also becoming more urbanized. Historically, Oviedo was a small rural town near Orlando, FL. But, as land keeps developing, so does the community around it. There are several shops and restaurants along Mitchel Hammock rode and Alafaya. The Oviedo mall is even being remodeled to house hundreds of new modern-style apartments. Current Resident: This is probably one of the best areas to live in Florida. The city is considered Winter Garden, but the "new" area of winter garden. Excellent schools (all A rated), 10-15 minutes to disney, but NOT in the "touristy" side. The area of Horizon West is master planned and essentially all new construction, developments, restaurants, shops and retail. It is just getting started it seems. Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine is being built, valencia college is planned, sams club, The town center called Hamlin is a great area. A few sweet breweries recently opened (NYBP, new york beer project) and Homestate Brewery. Lots of planned restaurants and a popstroke coming soon. Current Resident: Lutz is an exclusive community that is exceptionally difficult to get into. If you get an opportunity, take it! The “heart” of Lutz is at US41 and Lutz Lake Fern. Lutz features some of the wealthiest properties of Tampa suburbs such as The Sanctuary, Wellington Manors, Lakes of Wellington and numerous lakefront properties with ample green space. Current Resident: My experience in Lake Magdalene has been pretty good so far. My neighborhood is overall quiet. People keep to themselves and there has never been any trouble.
