Current Resident: My wife and I have lived in Conshy for almost 4 years now! We absolutely love living here. Conshy has a bustling city feel with a outdoorsy suburban vibe. You get the best of both world while paying low taxes and having a top tier school district. The resturant scene and small town feel was another reason why we gravitated towards the area!There are endless restuarants to choose from and there are new "ghost kitchens" poping up all over. Most if not all of the resurants and stores are pet friendly which is a plus. The accessibiliy to the local trails and parks is another selling point for the area. I enjoy riding my bike along the scenic schuylkill river trail to Valley Forge Park (10 miles up and 10 miles back). Lastly, I am excited for the redevelopment of the waterfront and the new train station. Mixing the historic buildings with the new will definetely reshape city scape of Conshy. Current Resident: Exton is a great place to live and work! It is just far enough from the main line that the houses are affordable and you get alot for your money. It is close to the Exton mall and a wide variety of store and restaurants. Mix of modern and historical architecture. The Chester Valley trail is right near by and enjoyable for hiking and walking. Current Resident: I love Chesterbrook. It is such an awesome community! The schools are great and the people here are lovely and nice. There are so many opportunities here such as jobs. The communities are very diverse and I find it very family friendly. Thought the pricing here is a little expensive, it is definitely worth it! Chesterbrook schools include Conestoga High School, and TE Middle School, both are great public schools and ranked fairly high in the country. Current Resident: Ardmore has been a wonderful place to be raised. There is so much to do in and around Ardmore. The neighborhoods are quiet, which is quite nice. The neighbors and friends you meet while living in Ardmore are the best! It is super close to Suburban Square, a shopping center filled with a diverse range of stores. Additionally, it's only a 25-minute drive from Philly, which makes it extremely easy when you need to take a trip into Philly. Current Resident: Plymouth Meeting is a small town. For me, it's close to a lot of stores and the highways and turnpike is very close. I would like to raise a family in this community, however, the market to purchase a home in this area is very high. Hopefully with the years to come the market will become more affordable for minorities. Also, the apartment developments are raising the price of living but not upgrading. So, it seems that we as renters are paying for the area rather than our actual home. Hopefully this improves over the next few years, other than these few issues it is a great community and has a lot of opportunity for children to participate in extracurricular activities and grow.... Current Resident: We have lived for 20 years here and have sent both our kids though the local school system. Our son who is special needs has received incredible support from the schools. Even giving him town payed for collage level courses at a nearby collage while supporting his extra needs. Having lived in NYC and North Jersey before moving here, I was surprised they called this 'Urban' in the rating, it defiantly is much more classic suburbia. Most of the streets are small and winding which keep the traffic speeds down and reduces chances of accidents. There is a flock of wild turkeys living in the nearby woods and deer and other animals are not an unusual site. There are malls nearby and the Town Library (which is first rate) is just across Kings Hw (not a 'highway', just named that) with pedestrian traffic lights to make it reachable by foot. Current Resident: Jenkintown is a wonderful community to grow up in! Pros: - fun traditions/events like the pumpkin drop, the arts festival - well established and cute downtown area - shorter train ride to center city than many inner-city neighborhoods like Mt Airy and Chestnut Hill (from our station it takes 20-35 minutes depending on where you're going) - economically diverse - lots of different housing options costing anywhere from $90,000 all the way to maybe $800,000. We have apartments, rowhomes, twins, and singles of all sizes. Cons: - Jenkintown isn't especially diverse racially. However, I've seen it get more and more diverse in the years I've been here.... Current Resident: Media, Everyone's Hometown, is a great little community. It's downtown ( State St) of about 8-10 blocks has a nostalgic feel of yesterday's past. This is what attracted to me buy property here. There a multitude of restaurants, sport bards, and sandwich shops suited for catering to anyone palate. There are also a myriad of small retails shops including vintage finds, an old 5 and dime called Deals which will take you back to the 50s,60s and 70s. Crystal shops, candy, stationery and almost anything else you can think of. Not to mention that there is a trolley that runs it full length and connects to SEPTA. Truly a small town that takes you back to the past when Main St. was where neighbors met and talked about life, the universe and everything. Living is Media is also great. Current Resident: Extremely attractively priced neighborhood within Cherry Hill West. Offers proximity to Philly, almost unrivaled retail/restaurant/shopping options, borders Cooper River Park(s), within minutes of downtown Haddonfield, Collingswood, and public transit to AC, PHL, and NY. Homes and condos are priced less than other surrounding suburbs with less options, longer Philly commute, and less amenities. I've lived in the Golden Triangle in three homes the last 25 years. Current Resident: I find Collingswood to be a swanky place. Its kind of like the old English teacher who wears long skirts with varying patchwork, sandals, and reads thrid wave feminist poetry in her garden she has with her "partner", or like those people you find in Colorado or such. I moved here this summer from the neighboring town, Haddon Township, and before that Haddon Heights. Comparatively, Collingswood is vastly different. With its swagger, population of 30 year-old hipsters with their young children, murals--essentially a Portland of smaller value. Again, this isn't nothing bad, it's the truth. I much prefer the farmer's market, the streets lined with pride flags and "Black Lives Matter" signs, small self-owned business with their quirks. However, having lived in the neighboring towns, I can see the wealth gap as the dividing factor. All in all, Collingswood, with its unique attitude, grants me this quasi-liberal-topia.... Current Resident: I moved to Berwyn PA from abroad 3 years ago. I didn’t mean to stay much longer than that but the area draws you in . The school system is great, commute into Philly on the Septa is super convenient. Area feels safe and ha a great selection of local bars and restaurants. With I think the biggest shopping mall in the US 10 mins away and yet you are living in a leafy suburb and can go walking and running around the beautiful streets. Current Resident: Phoenixville is a very vibrant suburban town. I would almost consider it a small city. There is a wide display of Public art, including statues, murals, and gardens. The area is very safe for pedestrians and full of small businesses. Also, it connects to the Schuylkill River Trail system, making it a great place for biking, walks, and horseback riding. Niche User: I love the area that I live in. Voorhees is a generally safe town with no big crimes going on. It is a suburban area which is an excellent environment for my sister and I to grow up in because it is enough for us be familiar with people without it being extremely crowded or empty. There is a decent amount of activity going on in the area, and the schools know how to celebrate individual students. I would love to live in this area again, and I actually was hoping to find another area like this for future housing. I am not sure how this area is compared to the rest country, but I know that is pretty well off compared to other towns in New Jersey. The only problem I have with this area is the changes that the high school is going through. They are changing years of organized schedules and classing in order to follow the lead of another high school, but every teacher and student knows that the students will not be able to handle this change next year.... Current Resident: Pike Creek is an awesome area! One of the safest places in DE if you check crime maps and very centrally located. The landscape is gorgeous and open with rolling hills and four full seasons. There are tons of walking, biking, hiking trails in the area. White Clay Creek state park is walkable from my house, but also nearby to Middle Run, Newark Reservoir, Paper Mill Park, and plenty more. There's a bike trail that will take you directly to main street Newark in 4 miles. We are close to University of Delaware, but far enough to have some quiet. Lots of homes here are on 1/2 acre. The food in Delaware is average compared to other states. For groceries, you can make the drive to Trader Joes, Costco, and there is supposed to be a Wegmans coming, but no idea when. Proximity wise, Kennett square and Longwood Gardens PA just 15 minutes away. Trolley Square Wilmington 20 minutes away. Amtrak Wilmington can take you to NYC or DC in under 2 hours (check out the Acela line).... Read 19 reviews

Current Resident: Love it here, very quiet Historic little town nestled between Downingtown and Exton. Situated in the Downingtown School District which is swell. I wish there were some more sidewalks where I am located but the traffic is minimal and everyone is quite friendly. Super close to the Exton Mall, eateries, shops and everything you can think of. Current Resident: A quite area. A one stop shop where everything is close by! There many events you can attend such as one of my favorites which is Saturday's farmers market! I love picking up fresh produce from local farmers. Plenty of places to park my car and watch the night sky.
