Current Resident: Like every other place on Earth, it has its flaws, but it's pretty good here. It's rural, but it's also a college town. Like a small liberal arts college, so you get the views of the farmers and the views of the small liberal arts college students. There's got to be someone who thinks at least a little like you here, even though it's not very big. It's also roughly halfway between Des Moines and Iowa City (which is sort of a joke because it's a whole hour away from both), which means that, again, even though it's not that big, it's not like there's nothing to do here. I mean, it's still not much, but we have a pretty decent number of restaurants and there's a movie theatre–I don't really know; I don't get out much. Most of the really exciting stuff is hosted by the college. I do know we have really nice parks, though. There are lots of them, too.... Read 26 reviews
