Parent: I can't say enough good things about the teachers at St. Anne's-Belfield. My child lost a lot of ground learning virtually in public school during the pandemic. His teachers at St. Anne's have gone the extra mile to catch him up without making him feel bad (or even letting on that he's behind). Really love that he has access to learning resource specialists and the school counselor. Can't speak to athletics as he's more of a CS nerd (and the program is amazing btw!), but I understand they are stellar if that's your kids' thing. As with all private schools, I wish it were more diverse, but the school does a good job being intentional about diversity and inclusion so kids are aware and prepared to interact with people of all backgrounds and cultures, even if they don't see a lot on a daily basis.... Parent: Sidwell has provided my children with an exceptional academic experience emphasizing critical thinking and problem solving, writing and communications, and quantitative reasoning. The workload has been substantial at times, but always enriching and interesting (i.e., rarely if ever busywork) and will fully prepare students for the rigors they'll experience in college and beyond.
