#114 Best Places to Live in New York City Area
- Suburb in New Jersey

Current Resident: Great school system, close proximity to NYC. The train goes directly into the city, which is very convenient. The downtown is really cute and full of good restaurants and small businesses. Unfortunately, many aspects of cranford, such as the shoppes, can be really overpriced. The local parks, such as Nomahegan and Mohawk, are really stunning and are teeming with wildlife. The local community college is affordable; the campus is great with lots of parking and security officers. The town is very family friendly and caters to families with frequent town events.
