Current Resident: Greater avenues is an awesome area to live in if you are a downtown or suburban loving person! The community sends out a newsletter with newest information about things that will affect the neighborhood. My dog escaped from my backyard one time and if it wasn't for the neighborhood watch that had been implemented, I may have never found him! I am so thankful for that! Current Resident: This neighborhood is fairly quiet and a good place to raise family as there are a lot parks, schools, and other forms of entertainment in the surrounding area. Current Resident: I love River Heights! It is a very family friendly and secure place to live. It is right outside of Logan, Utah and very close to many grocery stores and other amenities. Former Resident: Park City is an incredible place with amazing views! I moved here five years ago and every year I love it even more. One of my favorite things to do is electric bike riding. There are stations all over town and you can get almost anywhere when using the citibikes. They are easy to use and not too much money. The ski resorts are also incredible and very pretty. Although there are a lot of tourist at times, there are many uncrowded places. Main street is always busy and the restruants are pretty costly. If you are looking for a bite to eat I would reccomend the Redstone area. Redstone has places such as Protein FOundry which has acai bowls. There is also Panda Express, Cafe Rio, Five Guys, and some local restruants.Furthermore, the schools are great and are A rated. The highschool is less than 10 years old and is a very nice building. Former Resident: Sugarhouse has been a great place to grow up! Neighbors are friendly and kind, tons of cute houses and lots of apartments going up, cool places to eat, and pretty nice parks. Downsides: It's not super crazy diverse, and I know the housing market is very expensive. Current Resident: Highland has lots of fun outdoor activities including hiking and mountain biking. Highland is also relatively close to major ski resorts in Utah. The schools in Highland are amazing and there are several cute communities in the area. Not to mention, Highland is surrounded by gorgeous mountains, and Utah Lake (and even Y mountain in Provo) can be seen from some parts. All in all, Highland is a great place to be.... Current Resident: Cedar Hills is a great little town to live in. It's a community that is safe and welcoming. While the city consists of tight knit groups, it's still very welcoming to newcomers and visitors. The education centers are top of the line, the people are friendly, and it's close enough to other cities and towns to accommodate amenities that a more rural community might lack, but isn't overcrowded like a city. The only thing that could really improve is the amount of recreational activities that are provided. While there are many parks, there isn't much to say about rec centers, movie theaters, and other recreational businesses. However, they are still available in the neighboring towns. Current Resident: I like Bountiful a lot! I love to see the mountains every morning and the people in the community where I live are all friendly. I'm fond of Bountiful Main Street and all the little quaint shops that are there, especially the new ice cream parlor, Blacksmith Icecream! I have everything I need nearby too, like grocery stores, libraries, gas stations, schools, plenty of places to eat and hang out, and even a bowling alley! My favorite places to go are Game Haven and Fizz, which both are within a mile or two from my house. Traffic can be pretty tough around here though as there are a lot of people who live here and the lights can take a bit of time, but that's not something I generally have issues with. Current Resident: I’ve lived here eight years, and I love it. I do bike to work up at the University, and I feel comfortable walking anywhere in this neighborhood at anytime of day or night. I can walk to grocery stores, doctor and dental offices, the gym, and lots of other small businesses just beyond the neighborhood. One of my very favorite things about the neighborhood is the variety of types of homes. There are no cookie-cutter homes here. Being of mixed caucasian and native heritage, I do notice that it is not very diverse here, but over the years that has changed somewhat. I also feel like this is likely one of the best neighborhoods in all of Utah for people who are not Mormon. I have never felt out of place in that way.... Read 8 reviews
